Extra support for you and your children

Working in partnership with local providers we have developed our extended schools programme. This area aims to advise you of a range of services we offer in school and across the community.

 

Parent / Carer Support

  • Family learning

  • Parent advice and liaison Service (PALS)

  • Social Care/Family welfare

  • Suffolk Strategy for Parenting Support

Nurse drop in Sessions are held in the school’s community room and a confidential telephone helpline for parents / carers is also available

The nearest childrens centre is :-

Childrens centres offer a range of services for families with children from birth to five.

There are also links with health services, schools, training and employment services and other organisations to provide a wide range of services including:

  • Support for children and parents with special needs.

  • Family support and parental outreach services.

Family Information Point

Located in the entrance of our school is a Family Information Point. Internet access and a wide range of services are available here.

The schools ICT technician is in house on Tuesday afternoons and if available can help to get you started!

 

Varied Menu of Activities

 

Carlton Colville Primary School

Breakfast Club 7.50am to 8.50pm      Monday to Friday £2.00 daily

During term time our school offers a wide range of after school clubs eg. Gardening, Art, Italian, Cycling proficiency, Road safety Scheme, Schools Sports Scheme, Learning Together and Yoga.

These are changeable and updates are given to Parents / Carers via newsletters and the Parent News board (in the Cool Zone)
